This test is in 2 parts. The 1st part is called "Costume" and the 2nd part is called "Candy".

You and 10 of your close friends are attending a Halloween costume party.

Assign each friend to a category.

Step 1: Enter each friends name in Column A.

Step 2: Enter an "x" under the costume category for each friend.

Step 3: Replace all the "x" with "1" using the find and replace.

Step 4: In Row 23 you will use the function "Sum" for each costume category.

Step 5: Now make a chart that represents your data. Don't forget Titles and Labels.

Now that you are at the party pretend that you have been given a goody bag. Think about what might be in it.

Step 1: In column A enter the different types of candy you and your friends may have received in your goody bag not brand names. For example candy bar, sucker, gummy candy, and etc...

Step 2: Under each costume category enter how many candies each costume category may have received.

Step 3: You are to write a formula in row 24 that will multiply the number of candies by the number of people you have in each category. For example if you have 3 Heros from your previous data sheet you will enter 3 in b23 and your formula will be =(b22*b23).

Step 4: Now create a chart that best represents your data.
